The Wedding Day

The Wedding Day

So I arrived at Incheon International Airport on Friday, March 6th, 2026. The non stop flight was a grueling 13, but me and my mom survived. We are staying at my uncle's home and using it as our primary base of operation. It's a cute and cozy home. Very minimalist.

Combining tradition with smart functionality, a modern Korean kitchen design is characterized by efficient zoning, minimalist cabinetry, light wood tones, and clever storage solution.
A modern Korean living room prioritizes a minimalist, serene, and functional aesthetic, blending neutral color palettes (white, beige, gray) with natural materials like light wood and bamboo. Key features include low-profile, cozy furniture, soft, warm lighting, and open, bright spaces that incorporate nature, such as plants or large windows that connect with the outdoors.

The wedding was on Saturday, March 7th, 2026. My cousin, a year younger than I, wed his wife. I haven't seen him since the end of year 2012... it's been a while.

My cousin and his wife, wearing Hanbok, the traditional clothing of Korea.
My aunt and my mother wearing Hanbok, the traditional clothing of Korea.
My uncle, cousin, aunt, and mother.
My mother and I. Not a fan of that dress shirt collar I got going on. I need to find a dress shirt with a collar that is not as rigid as it appears.

The wedding ceremony was quick and short. The wedding was held/hosted by a wedding company that seemed capable of hosting 5 weddings per hour; probably a more affordable and cheaper route to weddings then most traditional weddings here in western civilization.

The food at the wedding was all you can eat buffet. There was many kinds of foods. Italian,, Chinese, Korean, etc.

Sea snail, salmon sushi, squid sushi (Nigiri), and tuna. I had 3 plates!

I didn't take many photos on my phone, as I was busy video filming the wedding on my newly DJI Osmo Action 6. I've owned this camera for over a week and have not gotten a chance unbox it and play around with it until my 13 hour plane flight to South Korea. I am new to videography and editing. I'm hoping over time I'll get better at filming and editing because I want to start a vlog channel on YouTube at some point in the future. But for now, I'm stick to just blogging. One small step at a time, right?

My new vlogging camera, the DJI Osmo Action 6.

That is all for now... until the next post.
